Is Tesla giving up on electric? Elon Musk wants to employ the fuel of the future in an attempt to surpass everyone once more.

The Tesla brand has always produced only electric cars, but now things could change soon. Here’s what Elon Musk wants to do.

The electric car crisis is now clear for all to see, and it is very likely that manufacturers’ plans may change in the future. Many Western brands have chosen to reopen to the internal combustion engine and hybrid, due to the very low sales volumes that BEVs are recording. The crisis does not spare Tesla, a giant that has always focused on electric, now overtaken by the Chinese BYD in terms of sales of zero-emission vehicles globally.

In recent weeks, some aspects have been much discussed such as the temporary production stoppages of the Cybertruck, afflicted by huge technical problems that have caused several recall campaigns, without forgetting the stoppage of the Model 2 project.

Tesla Car

This should have been the economic electric car for 25,000 euros, which however has been blocked and will no longer be produced. Furthermore, we have come to think of an incredible innovation on the engine front that Tesla has in mind, which would completely change future plans. Elon Musk has a surprising plan ready.

Tesla, now hydrogen is more than just a future idea

Founded in 2003,  Tesla  has only produced electric cars throughout its history, without ever focusing on internal combustion engines.  In recent weeks, there has been talk of a possible challenge based on hydrogen . A technology that is much talked about.

It all started with a video that was published on the  YouTube  channel “ Voyager ”, which we posted above. At the moment, the Texan company has not yet officially confirmed the decision to invest in hydrogen. Which  Elon Musk had often opposed in the past.https://youtu.be/oU8AIOffd2w?si=tN4gZBB2cgHEFDfb

However,  hydrogen would have no limits on autonomy and would also guarantee faster refueling . Although the challenges are the high costs for storage and poor infrastructure. At the moment, as anticipated, Tesla and Elon Musk have not confirmed. But neither denied on the subject.

Toyota  and other Japanese giants are already investing in this Technology. And it is likely that many have decided to explore this path as an alternative to electric
